Foreign Law/Accounting firms may work in SEZs: Govt.

Indian government has amended Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006 and in doing so may have allowed the entry of foreign law and accounting firms in these Special Economic Zones (“SEZ”).

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry vide its Gazette notification dated January 3, 2017 removed the restriction on any law or accountancy firm to operate in SEZs.
